Danny Hone handed pro deal

Lincoln City have handed youngster Danny Hone his first professional contract. The 18-year-old was only handed his first-team debut last month following injuries to Lee Beevers, Nat Brown and Adie Moses. Hone has adapted well and his rapid progress has been rewarded with a two-and-half-year contract at Sincil Bank.

Pleased

"I have been very pleased with what I have seen of Danny and he's fully deserving of a professional contract," said City manager Peter Jackson. "He was thrown in at the deep end due to injuries but since then he's kept his place in the side purely on merit. "His attitude and approach to the game have been first class and he's quickly become an important part of my first-team squad."
