Everton boss happy to be through to semi-finals
David Moyes was not getting carried away after Everton reached the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.
Yakubu Aiyegbeni's goal two minutes from time clinched a 2-1 success at West Ham United after a keenly-fought encounter.
The win sends Everton into the last four of the competition for the first time since 1988, but Moyes is not yet dreaming of winning the trophy.
"It was an important result and we're delighted with it," Moyes told
Sky Sports.
Won nothing yet
"But we've not won anything yet. We've won a quarter-final.
"But while we're really enjoying the result tonight, we don't get anything for winning that game."
A mix-up between Robert Green and Danny Gabbidon in the West Ham defence gifted Yakubu the winner, with Moyes hinting at a pang of sympathy for his opposite number Alan Curbishley.
Moyes added: "It was a great way to win the game when you're the winning team, but it's a horrible way if you're West Ham and Alan Curbishley.
"It was a really good result for us.
"I thought the first half was probably as good as we have played, maybe as my time in football, and it was maybe as good football as we've ever played."
