Nani thinks Manchester United's strong squad can achieve both domestic and European success this season.

Anything possible for United believes Nani

Manchester United's fantastic squad means they can achieve both domestic and European success this season, according to Nani. The United new boy has been mightily impressed with what he has seen at Old Trafford since his £17million summer switch from Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese player remains optimistic the club can land both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League this season. Speaking of the 'Golden Double', he said: "I know it will be very difficult to win both trophies.

Possible

"But I also know it is possible because Manchester United have a great team and a fantastic squad and we play good football. "The Premier League is hard because although Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are the teams you expect to be at the top, you do not get one easy game. "There are certain teams you watch on TV and think it will not be that hard against them. But when you actually meet them on the pitch, it is a completely different matter. They all seem to try really hard because they are playing Manchester United." United face French champions Lyon in the last 16 of the Champions League in the spring so are concentrating for now on the league. Their next game is against Everton at Old Trafford on Sunday and they will be meeting a Toffees team who are unbeaten in 13 games, including 11 wins.
Busy
Nani, who has praised compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo for helping him settle in at Old Trafford, is sure to feature at some point during the busy festive programme, which also includes trips to Sunderland and West Ham, plus a New Year's Day encounter with Birmingham before the FA Cup match with Aston Villa on 5th January. But such a busy schedule represents a major culture shock to a player who is used to relaxing at this time of year. "It will be a different type of Christmas Day for me that is for sure," said Nani. "In Portugal we never play at this time of year. Here we have five games. It is unbelievable, crazy."
