Barcelona want the young shot-stopper on loan as Jorquera is injured
Spanish giants Barcelona have been linked with a loan move for teenage goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo.
Spanish daily
Sport believe the Catalans are interested in signing the 18 year-old - who currently plays for Real Valladolid - until June because of injury to their shot-stopper Jorquera.
The La Liga side have not commented on the speculation, although other papers believe their Director of Football Txiki Beguiristain would prefer to loan a veteran keeper until June.
As well as the reported interest from Barcelona, Asenjo has also been linked with a possible summer move to Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton.
Spanish reports say the Premier League clubs have sent scouts to watch the player and are possibly lining-up summer bids to match his buy-out clause of 4.5million euros (£3.3million).
Asenjo's agent has previously revealed that several Spanish sides have shown an interest in the keeper, but he believes that the player "is going to stay where he is for now."
