Reports in the Catalan press suggest Spanish side Espanyol are interested in signing Moroccan international Hitcham Mahdoufi.
The 5 million euro-rated defender is currently on loan at Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv from Dynamo Kiev.
Kiev signed him from his local club Olympique Khouribya in 2007 but let him go out on loan after he failed to secure a first team place.
He scored his first ever goal for Metalist against Everton in the Uefa Cup last October.
Mahdoufi is a member of the Moroccan squad for the African Cup of Nations tournament in Ghana later this month.
