Internazionale midfielder Luis Figo insists he is unaware of reports linking him with a move to Major League Soccer.
The Portuguese star, who was named the World Player of the Year in 2001, was rumoured to be set to follow in the foot steps of his former Real Madrid team-mate David Beckham in moving to America.
However, Figo is adamant that his agent has received no contact regarding a move and that he is focused on success with Inter.
"I've read the newspapers," Figo - who was also named European footballer of the Year in 2000 - told the Italian media.
Possibility
"But the agent who follows my commercial interests knows nothing.
"Going to the USA is a possibility at the end of my career, but for me it is not the right time.
"I want to stay here to the end of the season and win the UEFA Champions League and the Italian League too."
Figo also confirmed he is well on the road to recovery from the fractured leg he suffered against Juventus in November.
"I'm looking forward to coming back and working with my team-mates," Figo added. "My leg is not giving me any pain, just a few troubles."
