After suffering two disappointing defeats in fast succession, Leeds look to get back to winning ways against Northampton.
Whites hoping to regain league form
After suffering two disappointing defeats in fast succession, Leeds United will be looking to recapture the form they have enjoyed for most of the season against Northampton.
Defeat at home to Oldham was a big blow to the Whites after losing to league leaders Swansea in their final game of 2007.
It's been a long time coming but Dennis Wise's side are finally suffering a dip in their League form after bouncing back in impressive fashion from their 15-point deduction at the start of the season.
Now seven points adrift of league leaders Swansea who still have two games in-hand, the West Yorkshire side have some ground to make up.
And having lost just one league game at home so far this term, they are expected to return to form against a Northampton side who have won just one of their last six away league fixtures.
In saying that, The Cobblers go into Saturday's match in fairly decent form having lost only one of their last five league outings.
Team news
Leeds' latest addition from the January transfer window Sebastian Sorsa is expected to play some part against Northampton after putting pen-to-paper in an 18-month deal with the club.
Striker Leon Constantine (broken arm), Jonathan Douglas (knee ligaments) and Jonny Howson (knee) are all out of Saturday's tie though and the Whites will also be without skipper Alan Thompson and Matt Heath who will both be serving a one-match ban.
Radostin Kishishev is also doubtful through injury leaving Dennis Wise with a rather depleated squad.
Midfielder Bradley Johnson will return to action for Northampton despite being linked with a move away from the club.
Cobblers boss Stuart Gray will however be without Striker Poul Hubertz who begins a three-match ban after his late red card against former club Millwall on New Year's Day while left-back Daniel Jones is also suspended.
