Cardiff striker signs three-year deal with Bohs
Cardiff City have allowed striker Jason Byrne to return to Ireland with Bohemians on a free transfer.
Byrne linked up with Cardiff 12 months ago from Shelbourne and made an immediate impact by scoring the winner at Wolves on his debut.
But he went on to start just two games in the Championship and he has not featured for Dave Jones' side this season.
Jones has now granted the 29-year-old a free transfer and the Republic of Ireland cap has signed a three-year deal with Bohemians.
"We are delighted to have Jason on board," Bohemians manager Pat Fenlon told the club's official website.
"He scored a lot of goals while he was at Shelbourne, and I hope he can do the same for Bohs."
