South Korean handed trial at Portsmouth
South Korea striker Cho Jae-jin has been invited for a trial by Portsmouth.
Cho is available after turning down the offer of a contract extension from Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse.
He will now train with the rest of Harry Redknapp's squad in an attempt to earn a deal.
Cho netted 34 times in 79 games in the J-League, while he has also scored eight goals for his country.
Djeziri completes move
Swiss striker Danijel Subotic joined Pompey on a three-and-a-half year contract earlier this week and Danish youngster Adda Djeziri has now followed him into Fratton Park.
The 19-year-old spent the first part of the season on loan at Leicester from Boldklubben Frem, although he failed to make an appearance.
He has now completed his move to Portsmouth after a successful trial and coach Joe Jordan thinks he is another one for the future.
"We have brought a couple of young lads in this week," Jordan told The News.
"But they are too young and for the future, they are not really going to figure in the first team for a good while yet."
