Swedish striker attracting interest from across Europe
Toulouse striker Johan Elmander is attracting interest from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Tottenham.
The Swedish international has been in exceptional form of late, notching 10 goals in just 15 Ligue 1 games so far this season.
He arrived in France from Brondby in July 2006 and last season helped the club to a third place finish and a spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.
Toulouse did reject a £7million bid from Lyon before the start of the current campaign, but with the club currently languishing in mid-table they may struggle to retain the striker's services this time around.
Interest
A club spokesman had told the Swedish press that there is interest in Elmander.
"Besides Real Madrid, Premier League clubs Manchester City and Tottenham have already expressed interest," a spokesperson told Expressen.
Real are keen to bring in support for Ruud van Nistelrooy as club stalwart Raul is not getting any younger, whilst Sven-Goran Eriksson has seen his Manchester City side struggle for goals this season and is keen to acquire a proven striker to front the club's European bid.
Tottenham could bring Elmander in as a direct replacement for Dimitar Berbatov should the Bulgarian depart White Hart Lane in the coming weeks, but with Jermaine Defoe being told that he is free to leave the club Juande Ramos may just be looking to boost his attacking options.
One area which the Spanish coach is definitely looking to strengthen is at the back as he has been linked with a whole host of defenders in the last few days.
Unfortunately for him Urby Emanuelson has stated his desire to remain at Ajax, but a move could still be made for Espanyol's Daniel Jarque.
