Phil Jevons has joined Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee from Bristol City.
The striker has been on loan at the Galpharm Stadium since November and has netted four goals in just seven starts.
He made only two substitute appearances for the Robins in the Championship this season after finding his route to the first-team blocked by Darren Byfield, Lee Trundle and Enoch Showunmi.
After deciding that his future lies away from Ashton Gate, Jevons has now signed a deal with the Terriers until 2010, much to the delight of Huddersfield boss Andy Ritchie.

"The signing of Phil is fantastic for the club," he told Huddersfield's
official website.
"We've been chasing him for a long time and there has been a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, but we've managed to secure the signature of a proven goalscorer.
"I still think he's one or two games away from being totally match fit, but he offers so much to the team other than just goals in terms of link-up play and I'm delighted to have him here.
"He's made a positive impact in his short time with us so far and I'm certain that will continue."
Wallwork situation
Ritchie also admitted that he is continuing with his efforts to bring Ronnie Wallwork back to the club after the midfielder's three-month loan spell from West Brom ended on 29th December.
"I've left the Ronnie Wallwork situation with his agent," he said.
"We know where we are and what we can offer, so the decision now lies with West Brom.
"We're constantly looking at other players too."
