Plymouth striker Rory Fallon has turned down a £250,000 move to League One outfit Southend.
The Pilgrims, who are pushing for a place in the Championship play-offs, had agreed a fee with Southend for the 25-year-old.
However, Southend manager Steve Tilson has revealed that Fallon - who has scored two league goals this season - has opted not to leave Home Park.
"Rory feels he wants to stay and fight for his place so that is that," Tilson told the
Plymouth Herald.
Plymouth paid £300,000 for Fallon when he moved from Swansea in January 2007 and the forward's current contract runs until June 2009.
