Damien Delaney has admitted he was drawn to Queens Park Rangers by the ambition of the club.
The defender sealed a move to Loftus Road earlier on Thursday to become QPR's ninth signing of the transfer window.
He had been at Hull for over five years but admits it was not a hard decision to join Luigi De Canio's revolution.
Delaney is now looking forward to having a successful career with QPR.
"My gut insistent was to say yes straight away. I'm really excited by the challenge," Delaney told
Sky Sports News.
"It was difficult (to leave). I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, but the time came to move on.
"As soon as QPR phoned my mind was made up.
"Hopefully there will be some exciting times ahead."
