Hamburg have signed Belarus Under 21 international Anton Putsilo from Dynamo Moscow on loan for six months. After impressing at Hamburg's winter training camp in the Middle East, the 20-year-old has now been given the chance to make the grade at the HSH Nordbank Arena. The Bundesliga outfit reportedly secured Putsilo's signature ahead of several Russian clubs. "He will strengthen our squad," HSV sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer told the club's official website. "We are delighted to have sorted out the final details and that Anton will be with us at least until the end of the season." Hamburg have the option of making Putsilo's loan switch a permanent transfer in the coming months if they so wish. Meanwhile, Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri has played down talk the Old Lady will bid for Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart, after he revealed his 'dream' to play alongside Alessandro Del Piero. "Van der Vaart is not a central midfielder in the sense that we understand here in Italy," the former Chelsea manager told the Gazzetta dello Sport. "I don't think Van der Vaart will come but nonetheless there would be no problem playing him and (Sebastian) Giovinco together."
