Pair extend Bielefeld stay until 2010

Arminia Bielefeld have handed Rudiger Kauf and Jonas Kamper extended contracts. The Bundesliga outfit confirmed that both players have signed new contracts keeping them at the Schuco Arena until 2010. Kauf, who joined Bielefeld from Stuttgart in 2001, has made 123 Bundesliga appearances for the club, whilst fans' favourite Kamper has featured in 44 league matches since his arrival in 2006. New Bielefeld boss Michael Frontzeck expressed his delight at the double deal, telling the club's official website: "Both are very important players. I don't have to stress the value of Rudiger Kauf to the team. "Jonas has scored several important goals and I think we can expect further improvement from him. "I'm glad that we have got both contracts sorted out before the Bundesliga returns."
