Hungarian signs until the end of the season
Northampton Town have completed the signing of former Wolves defender Gabor Gyepes on a free transfer.
The Hungarian left Molineux towards the end of last season after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
He is now back to fitness and Northampton boss Stuart Gray is looking forward to seeing Gyepes in action again.
"I know all about Gabor's quality from working with him at Wolves," Gray told the club's official website.
Big and powerful
"He is a big and powerful central defender who is a very good age. He was doing really well at Wolves until he got injured.
"I have been monitoring his progress since, and he has spent the last few weeks training with us to allow us to have a look at him and assess him, and I have been very impressed. I think he will be a very good addition to the squad.
"The contract includes an option in our favour for next season, so if he does well, his stay will be extended."
However, the deal was not completed in time for the centre-half to feature in Friday's League One fixture with Leyton Orient.
