Striker agrees terms with Town
Mansfield Town are set to unveil giant striker Jefferson Louis as their latest signing on Wednesday.
The former Weymouth striker has agreed terms with the League Two strugglers and will sign a deal until the end of the season.
He will become Stags boss Billy Dearden's second signing in as many days following the capture of Will Atkinson on a month's loan from Hull.
Dispute
The former Oxford United and Bristol Rovers striker scored seven goals in 16 starts for the Conference outfit but left the club after a dispute with boss Jason Tindall, who was himself sacked on Monday.
"I am delighted to be given the chance at Football League level again," Louis told Mansfield's official website.
"Some managers have doubted me in football, but now I have the chance to prove them wrong.
Faith
"I have to repay the faith which the manager has shown in me, and I am determined to help get Mansfield out of the relegation zone."
The 27-year-old could make his Mansfield debut in Saturday's home clash with Brentford.
