It takes a special player to score a special goal in a cup final and the Copa del Rey showpiece has been spoilt in the last two years for magical moments.

In 2014 we saw Bale show lightning pace and power to demolish Barcelona’s defending down the left flank and score a late winner, which truly marked the Welshman’s arrival in Spain.

But roll the clock forward 12 months and Messi produced another iconic moment on the big stage, opening the scoring after bursting down the right touchline, weaving between a few challenges before firing home.

Both are truly sublime but which one do you prefer? Blistering Bale? Magical Messi?
