Middlesbrough duo Andrew Taylor and Josh Walker have signed new deals at the club.
Defender Taylor has inked a one-year contract extension to keep him at The Riverside until 2011.
The news is a boost for Taylor as he continues his recovery from a foot operation he underwent in November.
Teenage midfielder Walker, who left the club for a loan spell at Aberdeen earlier this week, has extended his contract by one year to 2009.
Both players are highly-regarded at Boro and the news of the new contracts will be a lift for Gareth Southgate.
