Sheffield United have confirmed the loan signing of Internazionale striker Goran Slavkovski.
The Macedonia Under 21 international, who was born in Sweden, had been linked with a move to Middlesbrough.
Slavkovski had been training with the Premier League club this week before Boro opted against signing the teenager.
Former Boro boss Bryan Robson has now stepped in to take the 18-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Blades have an ongoing relationship with Inter and Robson has used this to good effect to add Slavkovski to his squad.
But the Championship club have admitted that the forward may not be in contention for an immediate spot in the first team.
