Striker joins from Reading; Blackburn to stay; Peacock signs
Swindon Town have secured the signing of Simon Cox from Reading, subject to confirmation from The Football Association and Football League.
The 20-year-old striker, who joined Swindon on loan last summer, has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Meanwhile, defender Chris Blackburn looks set to remain at The County Ground, despite interest from a number of clubs.
Blackburn has started just four league games this season, but has voiced his determination to fight for his place in the first team.
Lee Peacock has also handed The Robins a boost after he agreed a new contract which will keep him at the club until summer 2010.
