Villarreal have sealed the signing of Sebastian Eguren from Swedish side Hammarby. The 27-year-old Uruguayan international has joined on an initial loan until the end of the season. The midfielder is now hoping he can impress in La Liga and earn a permanent move to El Madrigal. Meanwhile, Villarreal have allowed striker Xisco to leave the club. The 21-year-old has signed for Segunda Liga outfit Granada 74 until the end of the season.
