American keeper would be tempted by Seattle deal

Fulham goalkeeper Kasey Keller admits he would be tempted by joining Seattle in Major League Soccer in 2009. Seattle will become part of the MLS next year and veteran keeper Keller has been tipped to link up with the club. Keller was born in Washington state and concedes he would be willing to discuss a potential deal with the club's owners. "It's an extremely attractive proposition," Keller told USSoccerPlayers. "Hopefully at some stage it becomes a viable option, and coming from that area, it's obviously something I'd find extremely interesting

Relationship

"But I don't get to write my own contracts. There's other people in charge who get to do that, so at some future stage I'd love to sit down and not just have dinner with the owners, but to sit down and discuss what possibilities there actually are. "But again, that's out of my control - they may decide to go in a different direction. "Like I said, there is a relationship, and if it becomes something, then I'm all for it. If it doesn't, I'll still be a fan of the new franchise." Keller is now back to fitness after being sidelined for four months after tearing a tendon in his arm.
