Norwich boss Glenn Roeder has confirmed that there is no chance of acquiring any of the club's loan stars.
Roeder boosted his numbers during the transfer window by bringing in Reading duo Alex Pearce and James Henry, Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs and Middlesbrough's Matthew Bates.
Bates and Henry both stepped off the bench to help the Canaries to a 1-0 win over Preston on Saturday, a result which stretched Norwich's unbeaten run to 11 Championship games and helped keep alive their hopes of reaching the play-offs.
However, Roeder has revealed that it is has been made very clear by the quartet's parent clubs that they are not for sale and that they are all expected to return at the conclusion of their current deals.
Technically good
"None of the players that are here are for sale," he said.
"We have taken four players that are not buyable, they are all wanted back at their Premiership clubs at the end of the season. Hopefully they are not called back after 28 days. A couple of them potentially that could happen with.
"I really feel those four players are going to lift the technical level that is in the squad and help us to climb into the top half of the table."
