Top of the table slip-up to in-form Heerenveen

Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven were held by Heerenveen, while Feyenoord were impressive on their travels to De Graafschap. NAC Breda picked up their sixth win a row and Vitesse Arnhem did just enough to see off Groningen. In-form Heerenveen held PSV to stay in the chasing pack as they came from behind to steal a share of the spoils. Otman Bakkal gave PSV a dream start when he headed home a free-kick from Balazs Dzsudzsak after 43 seconds, but it would get no better for the home side. In the second period veteran forward Gerald Sibon set up Michael Bradley to level with his 13th goal this season. PSV remain top with 53 points, nine ahead of second-placed Ajax. Heerenveen remain above Feyenoord in third place, despite their 3-1 win at Graafschap. Lasse Schone opened the scoring for Graafschap on 17 minutes but veteran poacher Roy Makaay replied for the visitors after latching on to fine pass from Leroy Fer. Nick Hofs was Feyenoord's hero in the second half as his double second a comfortable victory. Rob Penders netted in the second minute to inspire NAC to victory over Utrecht, while Remco van der Schaaf was Vitesse's matchwinner against Groningen. Harrie Gommans opened the scoring before the break for Vitesse but Martijn Meerdink equalised 11 minutes into the second half.
