Veteran hit-man hails Clarets boss

Andy Cole has praised Burnley manager Owen Coyle for getting the best out of him at Burnley. The veteran striker joined Sunderland at the start of the season, but failed to score in his seven Premier League appearances. The former Manchester United and Newcastle ace is now on-loan at Burnley and marked his second start on Tuesday with an impressive hat-trick at QPR. "He (Coyle) just said to me come in and enjoy yourself," Cole told Sky Sports. "He was a centre forward himself. "I spoke to him briefly before I signed, he said 'come in, enjoy training and do what you can do' and I've done that. "It's about enjoying it for me now and I'm really enjoying it at the moment." The 36-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the win at Loftus Road and the veteran does not know what his fitness levels are truly like. "I've completed 90 minutes, but how fit I am at this age who knows. I don't know," he concluded.
