Olympiakos winger aiming to upset Blues

Olympiakos winger Luciano Galletti believes his side can shock Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League. Galletti, who has earned 13 caps for Argentina, has compared Olympiakos' last 16 clash with the Blues to his side's 'European final'. But the former Real Zaragoza and Atletico Madrid player is not ruling out an upset ahead of the first leg in Athens on Tuesday. "Olympiakos is happy to be in this round of the Champions League, but now we are ambitious and we desire more in Europe," Galletti told skysports.com.

Surprise

"People have Chelsea as favourites, but we have not ruled out a surprise. The key to the match in Athens is our domination of the ball. "Olympiakos can not plan a defensive system because this would be a disaster against the Blues. "The atmosphere will be enormous in the stadium and this will have an influence on our game. For us it is like a European final. "Chelsea is not a terrible rival, but they possess a sensational squad and we need to play the best match of our season to still be in with a chance in London."
Drogba danger
And Galletti admits Olympiakos, who finished second behind Real Madrid in Group C, will have a better chance of progressing to the quarter-finals if Chelsea's star striker Didier Drogba is absent. Drogba returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty with the Ivory Coast in Ghana with a knee injury and, despite the forward being passed fit to play on Tuesday, Galletti is hoping he will not be rushed back into first-team action. "If Drogba is not in the team it will be better for us," Galletti added. "He is one of the best strikers in Europe."
