Defender to consider options in the summer
Highly-rated defender Miguel Veloso insists he does not want to consider his future at Sporting Lisbon until the end of the season.
Veloso is rumoured to be a target of Arsenal and Manchester United, while Fiorentina are also thought to be interested in securing the 21-year-old's services.
The Portugal international, who is under-contract with Sporting until 2013 and is valued at 25million euros (£19million), impressed as his side booked their place in the last 16 of the Uefa Cup with a comfortable 5-0 aggregate victory over Basle on Thursday.
And Veloso admits it could be difficult for Sporting to turn down any summer bids, but is adamant he does not want to consider his future until the end of the season.
Offer
"Now my head is only in Sporting," Veloso told the Portuguese media. "And until the end of the season I do not desire to follow talk about my future.
"Sporting say my position is rare and it would be very difficult to reject (a bid)."
Veloso's agent Paulo Barbosa has confirmed he has been contacted by clubs regarding a possible transfer, but he maintains that there has yet to be a formal offer.
"I have received some calls from European clubs about the situation of the player," added Barbosa. "But still nobody has presented a formal offer to Sporting."
