Tottenham ended their nine-year wait for silverware as they came from behind to defeat Chelsea in extra-time in the final of the Carling Cup. Juande Ramos' side had fallen behind to a first-half Didier Drogba free-kick, but Dimitar Berbatov then equalised from the penalty spot and centre-back Jonathan Woodgate headed home in extra-time to secure the trophy. With the glory days now returning to White Hart Lane, does this mark the start of a new era for Tottenham? Does Ramos, who won two Uefa Cups alongside a Spanish Supacopa and Copa del Rey with former club Sevilla, have the Midas touch when it comes to knock-out competitions? Will Tottenham also go on to record glory in Europe as they sit promisingly in the last 16 of the Uefa Cup? Meanwhile, Chelsea struggled to produce the form they are capable and threw away the lead. What can the Blues target for the rest of the season? Do their priorities lie elsewhere? Chelsea also turned in a disappointing performance against Olympiakos the UEFA Champions League in midweek are the Blues beginning to struggle?
