Carlisle hit-man content to aid promotion push

League Two promotion challengers Darlington have extend Kevin Gall's loan spell by an additional month. The Carlisle striker initially moved to Darlo at the end of January and has clearly impressed his new boss Dave Penney. Gall had been somewhat frozen out of the first team picture at Brunton Park under Carlisle chief John Ward and is eager for regular playing time. Ward concedes he had no problem with allowing the 26-year-old to extend his stay at Darlington. "Kevin wanted first-team football and he's been getting that with Darlington so we're happy for the loan spell to continue at the moment," said Ward.
