Lithuanian set for Hearts exit
Hearts striker Andrius Velicka has confirmed he is close to joining Viking Stavanger.
Velicka has held talks over a proposed move to the Norwegian club after Viking made a £1million bid for the Lithuanian.
Viking are still able to sign players as their transfer window closes on 1st April and they are hoping to bring Velicka to Norway.
Velicka admits he is hoping to secure a move to Viking after being impressed by the club.
Exciting club
"Viking looks like an exciting club for me and my intention is to agree personal terms," Velicka told the
Daily Record.
"I like what Viking have come forward with and the facilities and stadium are very good.
"I like being at Hearts but going to another team is just part of a footballer's life."
Viking's director of football Egil Ostenstad is hopeful a deal can be thrashed out for the 28-year-old.
"Until everything is sorted out you cannot say anything for sure," noted Ostenstad.
"Things are not completed but we are hoping things could be and we can agree everything before he goes back to Scotland."
