Midfielder needs first-team action
Alex Morfaw has joined League Two side Lincoln on a month-long loan deal from Scunthorpe.
The Cameroonian midfielder suffered ankle ligament damage in a pre-season friendly against the Imps and has failed to break into the struggling Irons side since returning to full fitness.
He joined the Championship side after impressing in a number of trials last summer, but is yet to make a competitive appearance for the club.
In order for him to gain valuable first-team experience, and to improve his match fitness, Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins feels that the winger will benefit more from a spell with the Imps than he would staying in the Glanford Park reserves.
As a result, Morfaw is now in line to make his debut for Peter Jackson's side against Wycombe at Sincil Bank on Saturday.
