Striker frustrated by lack of opportunities at Molineux
Freddy Eastwood admits he has endured a 'disappointing' first season with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The striker joined the Championship club in a £1.5million deal from Southend United last summer and enjoyed a blistering start to his Molineux career.
He scored in his first three appearances for Mick McCarthy's side, but he has failed to find the net since.
Eastwood has also not started a game for Wolves since Boxing Day and is unsure what more he can do to impress McCarthy.
"It's been a disappointing season as I've not played enough," said Eastwood in the
Daily Mirror.
"I'm training every day, I'm fit, I'm ready to go. I can't do much more."
The January signings of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Kevin Kyle have merely increased the competition for Eastwood, who has made 27 appearances in total for Wolves.
