Meanwhile, AZ have handed professional contracts to two of their most promising youngsters - Jeroen Tesselaar and Gaston Salasiwa.
19-year-old right-back Salasiwa has signed an 18-month contract with an option for two more years.
"I'm very proud of it, but this is only the first step," Salasiwa told the club's website.
"The next step is to reach the first squad and to play in the DSB stadium."
Left-back Tesselaar has signed until 2010 and like Salasiwa is looking to progress to the first-team.
"Hopefully I will succeed in getting to that level," he said,
"Left-back is a much asked about position in the Netherlands. I hope that after the signing of this first contract I can really make my profession out of football."
