Loan star set for start

Therry Racon is in line for his Brighton debut when Swindon arrive at the Withdean Stadium. The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Seagulls on Thursday from Charlton on loan until the end of the season and could be pitched straight in. Boss Dean Wilkins swooped for the Frenchman after Adam El-Abd was ruled out for a month with the knee injury he picked up at Huddersfield on Tuesday night. Wilkins is without both his first-choice full-backs with on-loan Matt Richards back at Ipswich for treatment on his hamstring injury and Andrew Whing beginning a two-match ban for accumulating 10 yellow cards. Kerry Mayo will again deputise for Richards on the left while Guy Butters, Gary Hart or Tommy Fraser could come in for right-back Whing.

Swindon manager Maurice Malpas' forward options have been boosted ahead of the trip to the Withdean Stadium. Billy Paynter has completed a two-match suspension and returns to contention while fellow striker Barry Corr is back following a shoulder injury, leaving Malpas with five forwards to select from. Defender Jamie Vincent remains sidelined with a groin problem and Christian Roberts will undergo surgery on his knee next week which is expected to rule him out at least until the start of next season. Lee Peacock serves the final game of his three-match ban, however the midfielder is currently struggling with an injury anyway. Another player certain to miss the trip to the south coast is defender Pat Kanyuka, who will again be missing with a thigh injury.
