Bantams entertain Spireites at Valley Parade

Bradford boss Stuart McCall will be without suspended midfielder Omar Daley as his side host high-flying Chesterfield. The Jamaican international midfielder received a straight red card during the weekend's 1-1 draw with local rivals Rotherham following an off-the-ball clash with Graham Coughlan and begins his three-match suspension against the Spireites. Daley is scheduled to link up with his national side on Tuesday along with goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts in preparation for their friendly against Trinidad & Tobago in midweek. But defender Thomas Moncur will return for the Bantams after McCall opted not to risk his hamstring strain against the Millers.

Lester missing

Chesterfield will be without leading goalscorer Jack Lester for the trip to West Yorkshire after he suffered a badly broken nose in Saturday's win against Accrington. The 26-goal striker got caught in the face in a goalmouth incident and had to be substituted just before half-time in the 4-2 victory. Lester is expected to be sidelined for up to three weeks as he requires an operation to correct the problem. Young duo Peter Hartley and David Dowson are both free to play after Sunderland extended their loan deals until the end of the season.
