Midfielder to return to training after hamstring injury

Olivier Kapo could return to the Birmingham City side for Saturday's Premier League game with Manchester City. The French midfielder has missed Blues' last four matches after suffering a torn hamstring in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last month. But he is expected to return to training this week and could be in contention for the weekend's fixture with City. Birmingham boss Alex McLeish confirmed Kapo is determined to force his way back into the team as the club battle to avoid relegation. "Kapo should be back training with us this week - and he will chomping at the bit to try and claim a place," said McLeish. "The only time we want players back training with us is if they are ready to push for a first-team spot." With James McFadden out of the next two matches due to a knee injury, Kapo's return is timely for McLeish.
