Spanish defender out of contract in the summer
Ipswich defender Luis Castro Sito is eager to stay with the club beyond the end of the season.
The Spaniard moved to Portman Road on a free transfer in 2005 but has found it difficult to establish himself as a regular in the side.
He is currently back in the team and scored his first goal for the club in the 2-1 win at Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Sito is out of contract in the summer but hopes to earn a new deal with more good performances over the next two months.
"I want to stay with this club," he said.
"I want to work hard to try to convince Jim Magilton that I want to stay here."
