Italians linked with Croat
Juventus are being closely linked with a move for Croatia star Mladen Petric.
The 27-year-old only moved to Borussia Dortmund last summer from Swiss outfit FC Basel.
But he has impressed in his debut season in the Bundesliga with 12 goals to his name so far - making him the third highest scorer.
His form has not gone unnoticed and a number of the continent's top clubs are understood to be tracking him, including Juve.
Good form
A scout from the Italian giants was believed to be present when Petric scored a wonderful free-kick in the recent clash with Karlsruhe.
Now Dortmund could be set to make a huge profit on a player they paid less than £3million for - indeed the price tag now being quoted is around £15million.
Petric has also impressed for Croatia in recent months, including scoring a goal at Wembley as England's Euro 2008 hopes were wrecked.
The striker has admitted that he knows of a number of clubs showing an interest in his services but he insisted he was happy at Dortmund.
"There are two or three clubs which attract a football player at anytime. I don't mind about that but I want to play as soon as possible with Borussia in Europe," sad Petric.
