Experienced striker joins until end of season
Chesterfield have added experienced striker Bruce Dyer to their squad on a free transfer.
Dyer has signed a contract with Chesterfield until the end of the season after leaving Doncaster Rovers in January.
The former Sheffield United forward had made four appearances on loan at Rotherham United back in September, but struggled upon his return to Doncaster.
He has now accepted a short-term stint with Chesterfield and could be involved in Saturday's League Two game at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Earlier in the day, Spireites boss Lee Richardson signed Graeme Owens on loan from Middlesbrough and brought in Colin Hawkins from Coventry City.
