Lengthy pursuit over for Crewe striker
Stockport County boss Jim Gannon has finally snared Crewe Alexandra striker Ryan Lowe.
Gannon has spent several months trying to entice Lowe to Edgeley Park and has now secured the forward until the end of the season.
Lowe has scored just five goals for Crewe this season and has struggled for regular first-team football in recent weeks.
He had asked to go out on loan during January's transfer window and has now been allowed to finish the campaign with Stockport.
The 29-year-old could make his debut for the Hatters against former club Chester City in Saturday's League Two game.
Meanwhile, Crewe youngsters Junior Brown, Colin Daniel and Nick Farquaharson have joined Witton Albion, Leek Town and Nuneaton on loan respectively.
