Rennes leave it late to sink Monaco

Mickael Pagis' last-gasp strike gave Rennes a 2-1 win over struggling Monaco at Stade Louis II. Rennes broke the deadlock after 19 minutes when Swedish defender Petter Hansson found the net with a rare goal. Monaco hit back and drew level on 37 minutes courtesy of Massamba Sambou's strike. The game looked set to end all-sqaure until veteran striker Pagis popped up with the winner in the closing seconds. The win lifts Rennes up to fifth spot in the table, while Monaco remain in trouble just three points above the drop zone.
