Defender suffers broken toe in Charlton's win at Plymouth

On-loan Charlton Athletic defender Sam Sodje is unlikely to play again this season due to a broken toe. Sodje, who has spent most of the season on loan at Charlton from Reading, was injured during Saturday's 2-1 win at Plymouth Argyle. The centre-half was hurt in the first half at Home Park and scans have shown that he has dislocated part of his big toe. Reading have confirmed they do not expect Sodje to be fit before the end of the season, meaning he will miss Charlton's push for a Championship play-off spot. Sodje, who was sent off on his only appearance for Reading this term, has scored twice in 26 games for Alan Pardew's Charlton.
