Midfielder continues recovery from knee injury
Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky will continue his recovery from a recurring knee injury in Prague following an agreement with the Gunners.
Czech Republic captain Rosicky has not played since January due to a tendonitis problem, which has left his participation in Euro 2008 in doubt.
And it has now been decided that Rosicky will continue his recovery in his homeland, rather than return to England.
"Tomas Rosicky's rehabilitation, following agreement with Arsenal management, will continue in Prague," said a statement on Rosicky's
official website.
Rosicky's agent, Pavel Paska, also confirmed that Arsenal have agreed to the playmaker's wishes.
"Earlier today Tomas arrived in Prague where he will spend a week of physiotherapy after the Arsenal medical staff agreed to release him," Paska told
TV Nova on Monday.
Rosicky also insists that his recovery is going well adding: "In the last few days I have been feeling a bit better."
