Kanyuka unlikely to play again this season
Swindon Town defender Pat Kanyuka is expected to miss the final four matches of the season with a groin injury.
Kanyuka has made just three appearances for Swindon since joining the club in January after being released by Queens Park Rangers.
He has not played for the Robins since the start of March after suffering the groin injury against Leeds and he is unlikely to be back before the end of the campaign.
"Patrick is still well off," manager Maurice Malpas told the
Swindon Advertiser.
"He had a hard two or three days' training, but we had to back off a little bit and I would doubt if he will play again this season, never mind next Saturday.
"He has got a groin problem. Our idea was to bring him in, get his fitness levels up and hopefully give him a few games before the end of the season.
"Now he is chasing his tail for the end of the season, but will he be fit enough for the end of the season? I just don't think so."
