Barnsley are still without skipper Brian Howard as Hull City hope to take spot in the Championship, live on
Sky Sports 1.
Howard has missed Barnsley's last two matches with an ankle injury, and the influential midfielder is now out through illness.
The Tykes, who can move seven points clear of the relegation zone with a victory, can welcome back Daniel Nardiello and Martin Devaney for the game.
Nardiello returns after three games out with a hamstring problem, while Devaney has sat out the last two fixtures with a thigh strain.
Tykes boss Simon Davey must consider whether to stick with the same side that has boosted their relegation battle with back-to-back away wins, or recall either Nardiello or Devaney.
With Kayode Odejayi and Jon Macken both scoring in recent games, Nardiello may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Hull news
Victory at Oakwell could lift Hull to the summit, if West Brom lose at Wolves, and manager Phil Brown has two injury worries.
Richard Garcia and Henrik Pedersen are both aiming to shake off injuries picked up in Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Queens Park Rangers.
Garcia sustained a shoulder injury, while Pedersen is struggling with a hamstring problem, but both players will be given every chance to prove their fitness.
Bryan Hughes and Caleb Folan, who came on as substitutes at the weekend, could come into the side, while the fit-again Nick Barmby may claim a place on the bench.
