Agent expects 'something to happen' in near future
The agent of Manchester City target Jo is confident that a deal can be agreed with the Brazilian's club CSKA Moscow.
City have been linked with the highly-rated striker since January and it was reported earlier this week that they were close to sealing a deal.
Jo recently extended his contract with the Russians through until 2011 but CSKA president Yevgeny Giner is understood to be ready to part with him for 25million euros (£20million).
Jo's agent Marcelo Dijan claims that no official bid has yet been lodged, although stories in the Russian media suggest the 21-year-old has already agreed terms on his contract with City.
Dijan has, however, expressed his belief that a transfer can be pushed through in the near future.
"I've made some calls to Russia and they told me there was no formal offer, but I think something will happen," Djian told

"I know the CSKA president wants 25million euros, the release clause to sell Jo."
