Defender signs new deal
Karlsruhe defender Andreas Gorlitz has had his loan contract extended for a further year.
The former Germany international has been in impressive form for the Bundesliga new-boys on loan from Bayern Munich this season and had reportedly attracted interest from several Bundesliga rivals, but Gorlitz has now decided to complete his comeback from a injury-plagued past at the Wildpark Stadion next year.
"I said a couple of weeks ago that I would either return to Bayern or stay here at Karlsruhe," Gorlitz told the club's official website.
"I had the chance to establish myself in the Bundesliga again after all my injuries. I feel very much at home here in Karlsruhe and am delighted that the decision has now been made."
