Champions League final live on Sky Sports 1 on Wednesday from 6pm

Petr Cech is confident Chelsea will defeat Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League final after being pipped to the domestic honours. Chelsea took the Premier League title race to the wire as they narrowly lost out by two points to eventual champions United. And ahead of the 'biggest game' of his career, Cech believes the pain of losing out to United will drive Chelsea to success in their European showdown in Moscow on Wednesday. "I think it's the biggest game of my career," said Cech. "The final of the Champions League is something special.

Motivation

"We have extra motivation because we wanted to win the title and in the end we lost it by two points. "To lose the final would be heartbreaking. Something I was taught as a kid whenever we played in a final was that history remembers only winners. "If you don't win the final, in the end you've got the same as the people who lost in the group stage. "It will be interesting to see how both teams come to Moscow because we had a disappointment while they were celebrating. "Sometimes celebrating can affect you more than the defeat. So we'll see how they cope with pressure."
