Italian eyes Champions League glory
Luca Toni has played down reports that he could leave Bayern Munich in the summer.
The Italian striker has enjoyed a superb first season in the Bundesliga following his move from Fiorentina last July.
His prolific goalscoring helped Bayern win the title and he is now looking forward to playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Toni has been linked with some of the continent's top clubs and he admits he would one day like to return to a club in his homeland.
"Next year I'll surely stay because we will play in the Champions League and I hope we can be contenders," Toni told the Italian press.
Really good
"I feel really good in Munich, although I want to come back also because I want to score 100 goals in Serie A before ending my career."
Toni is also confident of a successful summer with Italy, insisting they are the team to beat at Euro 2008.
He said: "In Germany they fear us because we are the world champions and we want to win.
"At the European Championship we must show our value."
